Methods of Seduction

I do not own Sherlock Holmes, and sadly that includes both Robert Downey Jnr and Jude Law.

“You’ve never questioned my methods before.”

Watson meet Holmes’ dark gaze with his own unwavering one of clear blue, studying the slight upturn on his friend’s rose-pink lips and the raised eyebrow with the calm severity only he could muster.
Something unnervingly hot slipped up his thigh, shaping itself perfectly to his leg.
Cold ice warmed to summer sky, even as Watson’s fingers pushed the foreign digits from his lap.
And as the fiery fingers dropped away, Watson looked back into Holmes’ disappointed face, the meaning of those words dawning on him in a whole new light.

He had never questioned Holmes’ methods before.

When they had found themselves thrown together in dark alley at the back of some theatre somewhere in the city, no questions had left Watson’s lips as the dark haired stranger had planted his unusually soft mouth upon his own and forced him back against the soot-smeared walls, tongue fighting for dominance.

When Holmes had arrived on the doorstep on his pokey home, face serious but eyes agleam and asked him most urgently whether he would move in with him, no queries had entered his mind.

On his first night in Baker Street when Holmes had cornered him in the study, waistcoat discarded carelessly on the stepladder, dress shirt open to the waist and a smug half-smile set upon his handsome face, Watson had not said a word before pushing him back over the couch and attacking him with furious lips.

And even after the meal with Mary, when Watson had found Holmes’ beaten and bloody and drenched in stale sweat, a combination that would turn away any sane person, but seemed to only draw him faster like a moth to a flame, had any concerns crossed his mind.

If Watson was ever to question his lover, it would most definitely not have been about his methods.

His methods were always astoundingly successful.

Who questions good fortune, after all?

Nice fic, very sexy despite the starkness or maybe it is all the more sexy because of the inexpliciteness. Either way, good job.

*wipes up drool*

Who knows why we're irresistibly drawn to someone?
Sometimes the only answer is to go for it. GO FOR IT WATSON!
Hee hee. This was well done. Nice. Very nice.
